Weapon Tempering Preferences

1. Belligerance: Boosts damage while War Cry is active.

5. Mobility: Prioritize movement speed or evade cooldown reduction.

Gear Priorities

· Max Life & Strength:

· Max life increases thorns from Challenging Shout.

· Strength boosts all damage, including thorns.

· Armor and Resistances:

· Max out values, but remember that due to the unique Chaos perk, there might be limits on reductions.

Key Gear Components

· Weapons:

· Two-handed Mace: Needle Flare Aspect for AoE Thorns.

· Two-handed Polearm: Death Wish Aspect for more Thorns and Aspect of Retribution for damage against staggered bosses.

· One-handed Sword: Shard of Veratheal to manage and generate Fury.

· Helm: Steadfast Berserkers for all resistances to gain Fortify when hitting with Lunging Strike.

· Chest Armor: 1GA Razor Plate from Lord Zir provides substantial Thorns and additional damage.

· Gloves: Elements Aspect for armor and all resistances.

· Pants: Tibultt's Will with Highest max life.

Chaos Perks

· Non-Unique Chaos Perks:

· Deafening Chorus: Keeps all your shouts permanently active.

· Chaotic Cooldowns: Reduces cooldown on Steel Grasp, enabling better crowd control.

· Dual Threat: Casts two basic skills simultaneously.

· Unique Chaos Perk:

· Bronze Over Brains: Increases your Max Life tremendously, boosting your thorns accordingly.

Skills

The key skills in this build include:

· War Cry: Increases damage while active.

· Rallying Cry: Provides resource generation and movement speed.

· Challenging Shout: Major damage reduction and thorns increase.

· Frenzy: Generates stacks for bonus damage.

· Lunging Strike: Your primary damaging skill.

· Steel Grasp: To pull enemies and apply vulnerable status.

With the chaos perks, the buildup and maintenance of buffs become almost automatic, allowing for straightforward and effective gameplay.

Progression from Level 1 to 60

1. Start the Seasonal Quest: Unlock chaos perks and the reputation board.

2. Complete Mission Lines: Focus on acquiring Death Wish and Needle Flare aspects.

3. Run Hell Tides (Level 50): Farm cinders efficiently.

4. Run Strongholds (Level 50-60): Utilize renown rewards.

5. Reach Level 60: Gear up with 750 item power through whispers and bartering to tackle Pit 11.

Advancing Through Torment Levels

· Torment 1: Begin the Infernal Hordes quest line to unlock Infernal Hordes compasses.

· Torment 2: Collect Tempering Recipes for Thorns enhancements.

· Torment 3: Gather enough Obsidian to improve gear.

· Torment 4: Ensure maximum expertise and paragon configured for the best boosts.
